These terms cover your use of Conquer, the geography game at conquer.abdullahhasani.com. Playing the game means you accept them. If you don't, please don't use it.
Conquer is a game in which you locate real places on a globe and are scored on accuracy. The Daily Conquest, Flag Hunt, the Gauntlet, Blitz, Frontier, Explore, Versus and leaderboards are free. Conquer+ is an optional paid subscription that adds the archive, satellite imagery, further campaign maps, weak-spot training, custom drills, private groups and custom Versus match options.
An account is optional; the game is fully playable without one. If you create one, keep your email access secure, since anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. Choose a username that isn't impersonating someone else and isn't offensive — the same goes for group names. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
Conquer is a game about knowing where things are. Please don't:
Accounts found doing these things may have scores removed or be suspended.
Conquer+ is billed monthly or yearly through Stripe, which handles payment and holds your payment method. Prices are shown before you subscribe.
Losing access to Conquer+ doesn't affect your account, your empire, your streak or anything you conquered while subscribed.
The game's code, design, written material and original content belong to its author. The underlying geographic data comes from open sources and remains under its own licenses:
Conquer is offered as it is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Features may change and modes may be added or retired. Should the service ever shut down for good, reasonable notice will be given and any active subscriptions will be canceled so you aren't billed for something that no longer exists.
Conquer is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. It is a game: the locations, distances and historical notes it presents are for entertainment and should not be relied on for navigation, travel, academic or any other serious purpose.
To the fullest extent the law allows, the author is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost profits, arising from your use of Conquer. Total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose, which for most players is nothing.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain exclusions, in which case those exclusions don't apply to you and your statutory rights are unaffected.
You can stop playing whenever you like and ask for your account to be deleted using the contact address below. Accounts that seriously or repeatedly breach these terms may be suspended or closed, and where that happens without good cause, any unused portion of a subscription will be refunded.
These terms may change. The date at the top will change with them, and material changes will be signaled in the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
